What's in the box? - 1/100 AGE-1 Razor Conversion

Just received this conversion kit from e2046.

Inside the box are two bags of parts, some instructions, and a picture.

Here's the pic.

And the instructions and parts list.

Lastly, the parts. They look pretty good. This is the first Gundam kit I have purchased from e2046. Wasn't really sure what to expect. With just a quick look, the quality appears to be pretty good. Interesting that the blades are clear. Might lead to a change in color scheme... Anyways here are some pics of the parts.

Well that's all for now.

Weekly WIP - 1/100 RX-93-v2 Hi-v E-V-O, (Part 2)

Going to make this quick. So much more sanding to do and I'm in a groove so I don't want to stop. Here's the kit snapped together.

Here's what I have of one of the arms.

What I have finished of the backpack.

This is half of the funnels.

And the base.

Waist.

Shield and gun.

Torso.

One of the legs.

And here are the parts I'm working on.

Lastly, the parts I haven't even touched.

Well that's all I have for now. So until next time...

Weekly WIP - 1/100 RX-93-v2 Hi-v E-V-O, (Part 1)

So this post isn't going to go exactly how the way I had planned. I'm currently in the process of moving and my camera is MIA at the moment, so there are no photos to share. But I will announce that I am currently working on the GoGo 1/100 Hi Nu Gundam. Mostly doing an OOB. There are a few parts that need work. The kit isn't up to Bandai standards, there are some parts where the details just didn't come out right. For those parts I'm either removing them or modifying them slightly. For some reason there are a few hollow parts, like the back of the V fin and the back of the side skirts. Those will definitely be filled in. Going to go with a Nu Gundam color scheme. The blue just doesn't feel right to me. As of this moment, I have the base sanded, cleaned up, and ready for painting. I'll be painting the A red and the rest dark gray. I've sanded the torso, waist, backpack, shield, and rifle parts. I'm currently working on one of the legs. Hopefully, by next week I can have both legs done and all of these parts cleaned up. And I'll definitely have photos for the next WIP. So until then...

What's in the box? - 1/6 Luna

Recently picked up an add on for the Sailor Moon kit I purchased a while back. This is another e2046 kit. I've been really happy with them. Even when things don't turn out the way I like they are quick to respond and will to fix any issues. Back on track, lets check out what's in the box.

The box is a little taller than a standard SD box, but overall it's much smaller.

Inside, there's the standard photo.

Next up is the parts list.

Then the assembly guide. Looks like a pretty complex build.

Inside the box is a ton of bubble wrap and one little piece.

Since there isn't much here, there are some detailed photos shown below.

Well that's all. Until next time...

Site Update

Sorry for the lack of posts. Took a week off after all stuff with the Marasai project. Started my next kit. Got ready to do a post and Sandy knocked the power out. Power was out for 2 days before I left town to go on vacation. Hopefully everything will be back to normal when I return. To make things more interesting, I'm going to be moving next week, so I can participate in an all day working meeting on Sunday. With all of that, modeling has been on the back burner as of late. But, rest assured, this blog is not dead. If all goes according to plan, I will announce my next kit a week from today and show off the first WIP. So until then...
