Weekly WIP - 1/6 Sailor Moon (Part 1)
I've mentioned it a few times, but I'm working on Sailor Moon kit for a friend. It's really just been sitting around for a few months and since I need a break from all the sanding for the Nightingale, I thought I'd start painting this kit. Was going ok until I got to the hair. When I was painting the base coat, it fell and landed in a pile of dust. Although I hate redoing parts, there was no way around redoing this one. Stripped the paint. This time during priming it fell. Fortunately, not much in the way of damage here. But, it does mean I have to take a new approach to painting this part. I think I'm going to paint half, wait for the paint to dry, paint the other half, wait for the paint to dry, highlight the first half, wait for the paint to dry, highlight the second half, wait for the paint to dry, then detail paint. Given that, I think it will be at least a week and likely 2 before this kit is finished. Here are some pic of the parts as they stand now.
Well that's pretty much it for now.

What's in the box? - 1/6 Luna
Recently picked up an add on for the Sailor Moon kit I purchased a while back. This is another e2046 kit. I've been really happy with them. Even when things don't turn out the way I like they are quick to respond and will to fix any issues. Back on track, lets check out what's in the box.
The box is a little taller than a standard SD box, but overall it's much smaller.
Inside, there's the standard photo.
Next up is the parts list.
Then the assembly guide. Looks like a pretty complex build.
Inside the box is a ton of bubble wrap and one little piece.
Since there isn't much here, there are some detailed photos shown below.
Well that's all. Until next time...

What's in the box? - 1/7 Sailor Moon
Recently purchased this Sailor Moon kit for make as a gift for a friends birthday. To go with this kit I also picked up the Sailor Moon base.
So here's what's in the box. A few bags of parts, a photo, and some instructions.
Parts looks pretty good. Lots of flash, but that's not really a big deal. Other than the hair, there's no loss of detail from the flash or gate marks. The earrings are incredibly small. I'll probably lose them.
