I've been getting lazy with the Strike Freedom project because it's been so cold. But it's given me a chance to snap together the 1/100 HG Deascythe Hell. You can check out what's in the box here. Now lets start building.
Step 1 - Instructions start with the upper legs. Lots of panel lines on the upper leg.
Step 2 - Interesting. The next step is the feet...
Step 3 - And the the rest of the legs. So many panel lines.
Step 4 - With the legs done, it's time for the arms. There's a lot of panel lines on the shoulders, but almost none on the rest of the arms. That's odd.
Step 5 - Next the hands. Wow. After working on a newer MG, you can forget how bad old HG hands were. But I do like the three finger / trigger finger split instead of the fixed posed hands of the HG/NGs.
Step 6 - Next is the head. There's a ton of detail on this head. I've never seen many panel lines on a head.
Step 7 - Next part is the chest. The gold pieces look terrible. Age probably has something to do with it, but the gold has rubbed off most of the edges. Doesn't look good. Wonder how to remove it. Not important now. Not going to be getting to this kit for a while.
Step 8 - Time for the last major part of the body, the waist. Very plain pieces here. Except for the back skirt, which has more than it's fair share of details.
Well that's all for now. Part 2 will showcase the weapons, wings, and the completed suit.
